hey, I’m britt
I am a traveling wedding photographer based out of Connecticut. Simply put, I love photos. I am inspired by the nuances of a moment, the way a person blooms around their kindred spirits and the perfectly messy details of life. My top priority is always to create an environment that allows you and your loved ones to feel comfortable by respecting the organic flow of your day. Your day, your way.
I get excited by the warmth of the sun, the smell of food cooking, eye-catching light + shadows, live music, wild weather, warm colors and springtime. I get self-esteem from helping people feel seen and learn, learning new things, exercise and being active. I’m a lover of things like The Office, salmon nigiri, thrifting and streaming something anything everything off Spotify.
I stand in love with a sweet, kind and studly man named Matt. We love eating and adventuring our way around the world, neighborhood walks, checking out concerts, quiet evenings and constantly commenting on the personalities of our cats Yerba, Pebby and Mush and our sweet rescue pup, our “girly girl” (said with an Irish accent) Phyllo.
We married privately on a spring day, getting ready together at home with a playlist on in the background, documenting it on a disposable Kodak and ate food truck burritos in our car. We made a little home video that you can view here. <3

But beyond that, she was just an absolute pleasure to work with. We had a backyard wedding, and pretty much everything that could have gone wrong, did – the weather being one of the biggest challenges of the day. Despite delays, chaos, and buckets of rain, Britt trudged through it with a smile, a raincoat, and nothing but supportive, encouraging words.
